摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air learning method for an oxygen sensor, capable of accurately performing air learning, even when the oxygen sensor is replaced. <P>SOLUTION: The air learning method is provided for the oxygen sensor which is attached in an exhaust passage of a vehicle engine and outputs an output value depending on an oxygen concentration in exhaust gas passing through the exhaust passage, and the method, prior to performing air learning for calculating a correction coefficient for correcting a relationship between an output value of the oxygen sensor and the oxygen concentration by performing cranking operation of the engine while fuel supply is stopped to introduce air around the oxygen sensor in the exhaust passage, performs cranking operation several times intermittently while fuel supply is stopped after performing a previous process for driving the engine within a specific operation region ( for example, idling operation) for a certain period of time, sets the output value of the oxygen sensor to be acquired during the cranking operation to a learning output value, and performs air learning based on the learning output value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
