<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a steering device capable of increasing the support rigidity of a rack housing by a vehicle member, and to provide the steering device. <P>SOLUTION: The rack housing 2 is supported rigidly to the vehicle member 25 by passing a bolt 23 through a bolt hole 21 of the rack housing 2 that opens in the direction roughly perpendicular to the axial line of a rack shaft 3 and a bolt hole 31 of the vehicle member 25 corresponding to the bolt hole 21 and by screwing a nut 24 on its top end. Then, a recessed part 41, in which outer diameter side projects toward an opposed surface 33 more than inner diameter side where the bolt hole 21 is opened on a seat surface 28, is formed along the direction perpendicular to the rack shaft on the seat surface 28 facing the vehicle member 25 of a fixing part 22 in which the bolt hole 21 is formed so that a fastening force received by the seat surface 28 becomes larger at the outer diameter side than the inner diameter side of the seat surface 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
