<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric manufacturing method and a woven fabric production apparatus which enables a high speed of the manufacturing of the woven fabric using a flat-shaped weft. <P>SOLUTION: On the outside of a shed S of a warp group B formed by a vertical movement of a heddle apparatus 74,75, a flat weft A previously cut in a predetermined length is held by a weft-insertion device 60. The weft-insertion device 60 is moved into the shed S, the weft A is inserted into the shed S of the warp group B. After the weft A is inserted into the shed S of the warp group B, the vertical movement of the warp group B is performed by the heddle apparatus 74,75, thereby the weft A is woven into the warp group B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
