<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of detecting an open-lid state in a heat insulating operation and suspending the heating operation during heat insulation. <P>SOLUTION: A control means 6 receives a pan bottom temperature of an inner pan 1 detected by a pan bottom temperature sensor 23 and a lid part temperature around the surface of an inner lid 8a detected by a lid part temperature sensor 22, and determines whether or not a temperature difference between both temperatures (pan bottom temperature minus lid part temperature) is a prescribed amount (15 degrees C, for instance) or above. If the temperature difference is more than the prescribed amount, the heating action of heating means 2 by an inverter circuit 30, a barrel heater driving circuit 31, and a lid heater driving circuit 32 is forcibly suspended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
