<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for chipping wood and veneer capable of not only obtaining a product chip with high quality but also solving problems on noise and dust by cutting the wood and the veneer by press-cutting by a ring-like edged tool. <P>SOLUTION: An edged tool body 12 is formed by coaxially connecting circular ring-like edged tools 14 having cutting edges at their peripheries at constant intervals. A pair of the edged tool bodies 12 and 12 are engaged between the cutting edges 13 of the ring-like edged tools by rotating the edged tool bodies 12 and 12, and a material (a) forwarded between the cutting edges of the engaged ring-like edged tools 14 is cut by press-cutting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
