<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transfer apparatus in which a pair of article holders are moved in a protruding and retracting manner in synchronization with each other while suppressing manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The article transfer apparatus includes a control means 35c. The control means 35c performs normal protruding and retracting processing to control an operation of a pair of driving means 25 to move a pair of article holders 15 in an protruding and retracting manner to a reference position or a protruding position based on detection information of an protruding and retracting position detecting means 33 for detecting a position of a first article holder 15a in an protruding and retracting direction, and the article transfer apparatus performs position correction processing to control: an operation of a first driving means 25a to move the first article holder 15a to a position set according to the detected position; and an operation of a second driving means 25b to move a second article holder 15b to the detected position based on detection information of a set position detecting means 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
