<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool of a sintered body with a surface film which is excellent in abrasion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A base material of the cutting tool is formed of a sintered hard alloy, cermet or ceramic. On the base material, a ceramic film including Ti and Al is formed.
