<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink container solving the problem of printing unevenness or blurring caused by aggregation and sedimentation of coagulation-association color material at an ink supply unit before sedimentation of a pigment ink in particular and properly maintaining an internal pressure in the ink container, in the ink container detachably mounted on a printing device including a conductive tube for receiving ink supply and a conductive tube for introducing gas supply. <P>SOLUTION: The ink container 1 is detachably mounted on a printing device including a first conductive tube for receiving ink supply and a second conductive tube for introducing gas supply. The ink container includes: a first connection 2 for introducing the first conductive tube into an ink storage chamber; a second connection 3 including a conductive seal 5 receiving the second conductive tube and in liquid contact with the ink; and an air guide tube 6 directly guiding the air introduced from the second conductive tube to a space above the ink surface in the ink storage unit while causing the second conductive tube provided at the second connection to be in noncontact with the ink in the ink storage unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
