The device (24) has a pinion (20) for rotation of a pressing plate (12) relative to a counter plate over a ramp system (18) for axial displacement of the pressing plate to the counter plate based on relative rotation. A latch (26) is engaged at a periphery of the pinion for rotation of the pinion, and a holding plate (30) is connected with the latch and a coupling cover (14). The plate enables relative displacement of the latch in a radial direction to the pinion in a pre-mounted state, where a radial position of the latch relative to the pinion is fixed in a final-mounted state of the plate.
