<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device which protects a circuit board from a load being imposed on an electric component without degrading assembly work efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The shift lever device 1 includes: a body case 2 configured to pivotally support a shift lever 3 swingably; the circuit board 4 including the electric component 4a disposed on the board; a board cover 5 including a housing part 5a for housing the circuit board in the board cover; and an abutment supporting part 5b formed in the housing part 5a and configured to abut on an abutment receiving part 4b set in the electric component 4a, with the circuit board 4a being housed in the housing part 5a.
