<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a blast furnace capable of reducing the amount of real CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>generated, by utilizing generated CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>effectively. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises: a step (A) for separating and collecting CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>from a mixed gas containing CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>; a step (B) for adding hydrogen-based reducing agent to the CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>separated and collected in the step (A) to convert the CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>into CO; a step (C) for separating and removing H<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O or H<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O and N<SB POS="POST">2</SB>from the gas that has passed through the step (B); and a step (D) for blowing the gas that has passed through the step (C) into a blast furnace. The CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is separated and collected from the mixed gas containing the CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and reformed into CO, and the CO is blown into the blast furnace. As a result, the blast furnace that effectively utilizes CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>can be operated at low cost, and the amount of CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>generated can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
