An embodiment of the present invention relates to the field of electronic communications and, in particular, to a method and device for the automatic display of applications on a home screen. In the method and device provided by an embodiment of the present invention, a mobile terminal first collects pre-set information, and then matches the collected information to the theme information of a theme saved in the terminal. When the collected information matches the theme information of a theme saved in the terminal, applications corresponding to the theme are automatically displayed on the home screen, eliminating the process of the user scrolling through applications, and thereby solving the problem of complex and time-consuming operations when launching applications. The method and device provided by an embodiment of the present invention therefore enable the automatic display of applications on a home screen, enabling the terminal to display on the home screen applications corresponding to a theme matching the currently collected information. A user can thus launch corresponding applications directly from the home screen, simplifying application launch procedures and reducing the time required for same. |
