<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (10) has a pump (12) generating an airflow that is conveyed to a drum (11) through a filter unit (16). One or more parts of the filter unit are made of electrically conductive material. Surface area of the filter unit is completely covered by the electrically conductive material. The filter unit is made of electrically conductive plastic. A filter support device (14) is provided for mechanical wearing of the filter unit and partially made of electrically conductive material. A grounding electrode (17) inhibits electrostatic charge of the filter unit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for measurement of dustiness of powdered, granular and grained substances (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The parts of the filter unit are made of electrically conductive material, so that static charge of the filter unit is reduced or completely eliminated, thus reducing disturbance caused by the electrical charge, and hence providing accurate experimental results. The device eliminates the need of an ionization apparatus, thus simplifying the structure of the device.
