#CMT# #/CMT# Producing standardized methane using renewable raw materials (biomass) and existing technologies of methane conversion in combination with enzyme-based technology, is claimed. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for producing monomers, which are chemically identical and are produced from fossil fuel sources, where the previous infrastructure is maintained in the production of plastic. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The method is useful for producing standardized methane. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method: does not use expensive purification process, thus it is has low production cost; can be independently operated by others without the supply of electricity and thermal energy; does not cause environmental pollution; and is operated both continuously or discontinuously, thus it requires much shorter production times. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Method: Any type of biomass without expensive purification is used since the standardization of the starting material is carried out via the intermediate step of methane. The by-products used are resulting from agriculture, thermal and/or material. The method is independently operated by others without the supply of electricity and thermal energy and thus is carbon dioxide neutrally operated. The used raw material does not require to be produced by extraction and similar complicated process, and thus no by-products, which affect the cost of production of these raw materials, are produced from the animal feed. Preferred Components: The process- and waste-water amount is up to 90% below the comparable biotechnological fermentation process. The product produced from this method is free of genetically modified agricultural raw materials, as they do not have to be used. The raw materials used are not provided in competition with food and animal feed and these raw materials are produced on land, which are not used for food- and animal feed production. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# No suitable example given.
|
