SOLUTION: An operation device 34 has an elongated housing 78 in which an acceleration sensor (84) and/or a gyro sensor (104) is contained. Acceleration data and/or angular-velocity data from the acceleration sensor and/or the gyro sensor is included in operation data and sent by an operation data transmission unit (92). An elastic member 200 with a spherical surface or a substantially spherical surface (Sf0) is provided at the bottom edge 78L of the housing 78.
