摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of selecting a lubricating film which enables energy saving while sufficiently reducing abrasion of a sliding part of a hydraulic device. <P>SOLUTION: A method of selecting a lubricating film comprises: a step of preparing a test substance 10 in which a lubricating film 2 containing phosphorus and sulfur is formed on the surface of a steel material 1; a step of measuring a film thickness T of the lubricating film 2 for the test substance 10; a step of determining a variation range W of the concentration ratio [M<SB POS="POST">p</SB>]/[M<SB POS="POST">s</SB>] of a phosphorus element concentration [M<SB POS="POST">P</SB>] (mol%) to a sulfur element concentration [M<SB POS="POST">S</SB>] (mol%) in a thickness direction D of the lubricating film by measuring the sulfur element concentration [M<SB POS="POST">S</SB>] (mol%) and the phosphorus element concentration [M<SB POS="POST">P</SB>] (mol%) in the lubricating film 2 for the test substance 10; and a step of selecting a lubricating film in which the film thickness T is 1 nm or more and 50 nm or less and the fluctuation range W is 5 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
