<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reducing sound leakage from a suction port of a box-shaped compressor having a simple structure which can reduce delivery of noise occurring from a sound generation source of a compressor and a motor provided inside the box-shaped compressor to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: At a back part of a plate 3 of a package 100 of the box-shaped compressor having the suction port 2 formed therein, a frame-shaped duct 1 is abutted and fixed thereon. Sound generated from the sound generation source 6 is delivered from the suction port 2 via the duct 1.
