<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that in the conventional die casting apparatus, in the one where a die is fitted to the tip of a plunger sleeve, when a molten metal is injected from the injection port of the plunger sleeve, and an injection rod is pushed therein, the molten metal in the plunger sleeve is not uniformized at the upper and lower sides, and there is a risk that a casting injected into the die is deformed. <P>SOLUTION: In a die casting apparatus with ultrasonic wave application, a sprue spreader 2 is fixed to the tip 1a of a plunger sleeve 1; an injection port 1b is formed at the upper part of the plunger sleeve 1 in the vicinity of the sprue spreader 2; an injection port 1d for molten metal is formed at the upper part in the vicinity of the other end 1c of the plunger sleeve 1; one end of the injection rod 3 is inserted from the other end 1c of the plunger sleeve 1; a plunger tip 4 is mounted on one end of the injection rod 3; a Langevin type vibrator 5 is fitted to the rear end of the injection rod 3, and an oscillator 10 is connected to electrodes 8, 9 between the piezoelectric elements 6, 7 of the Langevin type vibrator 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
