<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter blowing control method with high productivity, which estimates a spitting generation amount and controlling a lance height to suppress spitting generation in converter blowing operation. <P>SOLUTION: The blowing control method of a converter is characterized by including an imaging process for imaging spitting of higher than certain brightness out of spitting scattered and falling from a furnace port of the converter at an outside of the converter so as to satisfy the following expression; an analyzing process for analyzing an image of the imaged information; and a control process for controlling a lance position based on the image analysis information. 1/4*(Ls/Lt)*π/4*(d+σ)<SP POS="POST">2</SP>≤X<SP POS="POST">2</SP>≤(Ls/Lt)*π/4(d-σ)<SP POS="POST">2</SP>: X is a length (mm) of a diameter equivalent to one pixel or one side of a square equivalent to one pixel in a visual field of a monitoring device; Ls is an average concentration of imaging of the spitting (molten iron particles); Lt is a concentration threshold of the imaging of the spitting (molten iron particles); d is an average value (mm) of a particle size of the spitting (molten iron particles); σ is a standard deviation (mm) of the particle size of the spitting (molten iron particles). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
