<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification power generation system preventing malfunction of a pressure control means caused by conglutination of impurities contained in a combustible gas and constituting the pressure control means at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A second gas pipe 30 is constituted of an upstream side gas pipe 301 and a downstream side gas pipe 302, a water filling tank 14 is provided between the upstream side gas pipe 301 and the downstream side gas pipe 302, water is filled to a prescribed water level in the water filling tank 14, the gas outlet part 301A of the upstream side gas pipe 301 is disposed at a position lower than the water level of the water filling tank 14 and water pressure in the water filling tank 14 is applied to a biogas discharged from the gas outlet part 301A of the upstream side gas pipe 301 to control the supply amount of the combustible gas to an excessive gas combustion device 15.
