<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image reading device and an image recording medium with both high accuracy and high speed by uniformly transporting an image recording medium having a plate shape for accurately reading the radiation image recorded on the image recording medium and integrating reading of a stored image and subsequent erasing of a residual image into a series of operations. <P>SOLUTION: An irradiated image reading device for reading an irradiated image recorded on an image recording medium having a plate shape comprises a recording medium supporting part for supporting a recording surface of the image recording medium with a cylindrical surface and a transporting part for transporting the image recording medium toward the axis direction of the cylindrical surface while a conveyor belt 133 made of resin having tiny suction cups 138 on the surface presses the recording surface of the image recording medium onto the cylindrical surface of the recording medium supporting part, and reads and erases the irradiated image recorded on the image recording medium in succession during transportation. Since the conveyor belt 133 has tiny suction cups 138, the image recording medium can be transported with adequate power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
