IMIDE FLAME RETARDANT, RESIN SOLUTION, FILM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that conventional polyimide particles have a large maximum particle size to make it difficult to use it for a fine processed article such as an electronic material or the like to impart flame retardancy thereto and deteriorate properties of the resin when jointly used with a large amount of a flame retardant such as a metal hydrate.

SOLUTION: The imide flame retardant comprises an imide obtained by causing a tetracarboxylic dianhydride to react with a diisocyanate and has a maximum particle size of at least 1 μm and at most 100 μm.
