#CMT# #/CMT# The mechanism has a toggle lever element coupled with a manually actuatable operating member (2), and a pawl (10) used for stabilization of the lever element. A half shaft (11) secures the pawl in a stabilizing position. The pawl is coupled with the lever element and latched at the half shaft such that pressure load on the lever element is stabilized in a stretching position. A mechanical carrier (12) is coupled with the mechanism, and bidirectionally transmits a mechanical control signal between the mechanism and an auxiliary module that is coupled to a leakage current circuit breaker (1). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Switching mechanism for a leakage current circuit breaker (claimed) that is utilized as a protective device for inadmissible current during current accidents. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The mechanical carrier bidirectionally transmits the mechanical control signal between the mechanism and the auxiliary module that is coupled to the leakage current circuit breaker, thus enabling the circuit breaker to cooperate with different auxiliary modules such as auxiliary switches, error signal switches, external switches, load current triggers, under voltage triggers or self check modules, and hence increasing flexibility of the circuit breaker.
