A POWER CONVERSION LED HAVING AN AEROGEL INCLUDING QUANTUM DOT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A power conversion LED which is equipped with aerogel including a quantum dot and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve optical extraction efficiency, thereby embodying white light. CONSTITUTION: Aerogel including a quantum dot is arranged in the outer surface of a power conversion LED. The aerogel has predetermined relative intensity within a 500 to 600nm frequency range. The power conversion LED and quantum dot are prepared(S100). A colloid in a gel state including the quantum dot is arranged using an alkoxide sol-gel method(S200). The colloid is applied on the outer surface of the power conversion LED(S300). The aerogel including the quantum dot is arranged by super-critically crying the colloid(S400).
