FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in mounting meter of parameters describing technical state of pipeline to use meter readings for estimation of probable deterioration of dangerous developments. Said meter represents linear deformation transducer mounted on pipeline in water reservoir on its surface. Note here that meter readings are compared with threshold values.
