PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane-electrode assembly for solid macromolecular fuel cells advantageous in restraining aggregation of catalysts.
SOLUTION: A membrane-electrode assembly has a structure in which a diffusion layer for fuel, a catalyst layer for fuel, an electrolytic membrane having proton conductivity, a catalyst layer for oxidant and a diffusion layer for oxidant are stacked in this order. At least one of the catalyst layer for fuel and the catalyst layer for oxidant contains catalyst powder in which the catalyst is carried by a catalyst carrier, a macromolecular electrolyte material having proton conductivity and an additive agent formed by a macromolecular material bridging a macromolecular chain having a pyridine ring as a functional group.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
