PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for producing ink for inkjet recording, having superior adhesion to a polyvinyl chloride resin sheet and superior recording head ejection stability, and using a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer resin produced by suspension polymerization as a binder resin; and an ink cartridge.

SOLUTION: This ink for inkjet recording includes a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer resin produced by suspension polymerization as a binder resin, and is produced by irradiating ink for inkjet recording containing undissolved gel-like component of the vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer resin with ultrasonic waves by ultrasonic wave generator, thereby dissolving the gel-like component in the solvent to obtain the ink for inkjet recording free of gel-like component. The ink cartridge is produced to house the ink for inkjet recording.
