<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rivet setting device allowing rivet setting work to be carried out satisfactorily and smoothly to reduce a cycle time in setting work. <P>SOLUTION: The rivet setting device for inserting the rivets R sequentially fed from a rivet supply means, through holes formed in the predetermined parts of a workpiece includes conveying paths 1a, 2a through which the rivets R can be conveyed sliding down into a settable position A, and a suspension support part 2b formed in the settable position A located at the tips of the conveying paths and allowing the rivet R to be placed in a suspended state with its shank hanging down while supporting the head of the rivet R that has reached the settable position A. The rivet R can be set into the hole of the workpiece by moving the suspension support part 2b in a substantially horizontal direction while inserting the rivet R placed in the suspended state by the suspension support part 2b, through the hole of the workpiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
