<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further miniaturize and simplify the construction of a slim-type connector structure which has made it possible to minimize the number of component parts and simplify a process for connecting wire-like terminals while also enabling connection work to be carried out easily and efficiently and the wire-like terminals to be firmly held after being disposed in place without exerting external forces thereon. <P>SOLUTION: The connector comprises a contact 11 formed as an integral body and a housing 12 formed as an integral body, one pc. each. A pair of terminal contact parts 14 are disposed in parallel to an installation plane 100a. The housing 12 makes the pair of terminal contact parts 14 contact with a wire-like terminal 101a to hold them by moving along a linear direction relative to the contact 11, the housing 12 being slid on a side wall 16. In a state that before the above relative movement is carried out, the contact 11 is elastically deformed to open the pair of terminal contact parts 14, the housing 12 is locked to the side wall 16 of the contact 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
