<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of images recorded on electronic paper. <P>SOLUTION: Electronic paper having colored charged particles and displaying images by movement of the colored charged particles in a thickness direction is supplied to the area where electrical fields are generated in the thickness direction, and the work function of surfaces of image carriers, which is one member generating electrical fields, is lowered than the work function of contact surfaces to the image carriers in the electronic paper, which enable to improve the quality of images recorded on electronic paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
