<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical spectrum analyzer capable of shortening time intervals between data acquisitions. <P>SOLUTION: An optical spectrum analyzer 2 which measures an optical spectrum of target light includes: a diffraction grating 21; a diffraction grating control part 3; a light detecting part 6; an operation part 5 which calculates a target diffraction grating angle at which wavelength components extracted by the diffraction grating match a sampling wavelength at which the light intensity of the component light should be detected and stores the calculated target diffraction grating angle data in an internal memory; a FIFO memory into which a part of the stored target diffraction grating angle data is inputted and which outputs the target diffraction grating angle data at the time of each trigger signal showing the timing for sampling; a trigger signal generating part which generates a trigger signal on the basis of the target diffraction grating angle data outputted from the FIFO memory and the angle of the diffraction grating; and a FIFO memory control part 4 which reads the remaining part of the target diffraction grating angle data from the internal memory and inputs it into the FIFO memory when the remaining data volume of the FIFO memory is smaller than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
