<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a brushless motor. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for the brushless motor comprises a processor, a first timer, a second timer, a comparison register, a comparator, an input part, and one or more output parts. The processor starts the first timer in response to a signal at the input part. The first timer, then, generates an interrupt after a first time period. In response to the interrupt, the processor generates a first control signal at the output part. The processor is read by the comparison register and starts the second timer in response to either of an input signal or the interrupt. The comparator, then, generates a second control signal at the output part when the second timer and the comparison register correspond.
