<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic screw tightening apparatus which hardly damages an inner wall of a transfer tube, stably feeds a screw to a screwdriver bit while stabilizing an attitude of the screw, and shortens a screw tightening time for the screw. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic screw tightening apparatus transfers the screw to a screw tightening mechanism from a screw feeding mechanism by a screw transfer mechanism using the air suction of the screw tightening mechanism, and tightens the screw by making the screw engaged with a screwdriver bit. In the screw feeding mechanism, the inside of the transfer tube of the screw transfer mechanism is provided with an ejection section which transfers the screw in such a manner that a screw head is directed forward; the ejection section is provided with a rotary arm; a tip of the rotary arm is provided with a feeding head which is brought into close contact with the screwdriver bit at the tip of the screw tightening mechanism; and the feeding head is movable between a close contact position to come into close contact with the screwdriver bit at the tip of the screw tightening mechanism, and a receding position away from the screwdriver bit. The feeding head is connected to the screwdriver bit at the tip of the screw tightening mechanism in the close contact position so as to suck in the screw head and make the screw head engaged with the screwdriver bit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
