<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable blower improved in safety. <P>SOLUTION: This portable blower includes: a housing set up on an installation surface through support of a support part 3 and having an opening part 24 opened in a suction surface 2b, which is inclined to face the installation surface, and a blow-out opening 7 opened in the top surface 2d adjacent to the suction surface 2b; an air passage 8 provided inside the housing and connecting the opening part 24 to the blow-out opening 7; and an air blowing fan 17 arranged inside the air passage 8. Outside air driven by the air blowing fan 17 flows into the air passage 8 through a suction opening 6 formed by a part or the whole of the opening 24, passes through the blowing fan 17, and is emitted from the blow-out opening 7.
