FIRE-RESISTANT FILLER POWDER, SEALING MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE FIRE-RESISTANT FILLER POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the cost of a sealing material and prevent breakage of sealed portions and sealing failures caused by unreacted materials by inventing a fire-resistant filler powder which is low expansive, strong and solid phase-reactable at low temperatures and a process for producing the same.

SOLUTION: The fire-resistant filler powder is characterized in that its main crystal phase comprises willemite and gahnite, and the ratio of the willemite to the gahnite is 99:1 to 70:30 by mole ratio.
