<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high efficiency, size reduction, and cost reduction by applying optimum design to a fluid heating device. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid heating device is composed of a combustion device which burns fuel to generate thermal energy, and a heater which heats fluid by the thermal energy from the combustion device. The heater 1 comprises a plate part in which plates are stacked with intervals. A heating part and a heated part are so configured that the fluid having thermal energy and a heated fluid alternately flow in a gap between the plates for the heated fluid to be heated. The plate part of the heater is placed in a burning flame 5, and a plurality of smoke pipes 7 in which the combustion gas after burning flows are arranged at the upper side of a lower stream of the plate part. The burning flame flows in the plate part horizontally which is placed in the burning flame, and then is deflected upward to advance upward inside the smoke pipe. The heated fluid flows in the plate part upward, and then advances among the smoke pipes from the lower part and flows upward outside the smoke pipes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
