<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretch-broken spun yarn composed of a novel meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber having high mechanical strength and capable of suppressing the generation of gas under a high-temperature atmosphere in addition to heat resistance and flame retardancy a meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber originally possesses. <P>SOLUTION: The meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber is obtained by the steps of appropriately controlling the ingredients or condition in a coagulation bath to make a compact coagulated form with no skin-core structure, plastically drawing the coagulated product in the range of a specific ratio, and then performing a hot drawing step under the specific condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
