摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost of a constant velocity joint using a resin boot. <P>SOLUTION: For a resin boot 1 for a constant velocity joint, a resin molded article is prepared which is composed of a large diameter portion 2 of a cylindrical shape, a small diameter portion 6 of a cylindrical shape and an intermediate portion 4 of bellows shape connecting the large diameter portion 2 and the small diameter portion 6 together, the large diameter portion 2 having an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of a first member for attaching the large diameter portion 2, the small diameter portion 6 having an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of a second member for attaching the small diameter portion 6. The resin molded article is crosslinked by being irradiated with electron beam, then the inner diameter of the large diameter portion 2 is increased larger than the outer diameter of the first member and the inner diameter of the small diameter portion 6 is increased larger than the outer diameter of the second member using a heated diameter enlarging device, thereby thermal contractibility is imparted to the large diameter portion 2 and the small diameter portion 6. Thus, the resin boot 1 for a constant velocity joint is obtained.
