<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate an offset amount of a cylinder pressure obtained from an output signal of a cylinder pressure sensor to a true cylinder pressure in a control device for controlling an internal combustion engine using the output signal of the cylinder pressure sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The offset amount P' is calculated by expression 1.
