PURPOSE: Coupling for connecting a water pipe is provided to prevent underwater electrical wires and wire ropes from becoming entangled during the installation or lift of a water pipe since the underwater electrical wires and wire ropes are wound around the couplings of each section, respectively. CONSTITUTION: Coupling(10) for connecting a water pipe is as follows. Water pipes are connected in a longitudinal direction. The coupling comprises a plurality of vanes(16) and grooves(18). The vanes are formed outside a hollow body(12) radially. The grooves are formed on the vanes and are wound underwater electrical wires.
