Received pilot symbols and received data symbols may be obtained from an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and/or multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission. First phase information is obtained based on the pilot symbols received from a first set of subcarriers in the current symbol period. Second phase information is obtained based on data symbols received from a second set of subcarriers in the current symbol period. The phase of data symbols received in the current symbol period is corrected based on the first phase information.
