<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biopolyurethane resin using a plant-derived raw material at a high rate, which is an ecological material capable of maintaining or improving, when applied to various products, the durability, performance or the like requested for such products, and further offers a countermeasure to environmental problems. <P>SOLUTION: The biopolyurethane resin is obtained by reacting any one polyol of biopolycarbonate polyol (A) or biopolyester polyol (B) synthesized using a plant-derived short-chain diol component (a) and a petroleum-derived carbonate component (b) or a plant-derived carboxylic component (c), and biopolyether polyol (C) synthesized using the plant-derived short-chain diol component (a) with an isocyanate component (d).
