<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an object targeted by a user cannot be rendered in volume rendering because the targeted object is shielded by another opaque object. <P>SOLUTION: In a three-dimensional scene, information on a cut surface parallel with a sight line direction is used to select a targeted object, and one curved surface is generated to divide a sight line passing this selected object into two portions, and different rendering parameters are set to the two portions of the sight line, whereby the object targeted by the user is displayed through an opaque zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
