<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fuel cell, which can suppress cracking and peeling of an electrolyte layer while improving the denseness of the electrolyte layer. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a fuel cell includes an arrangement process for arranging a solid oxide electrolyte and an ancillary material on a metal substrate having a gas permeable property, temporally in a different process; and a firing process for firing the solid oxide electrolyte. A melting point or a glass transition point of the ancillary material is below a firing temperature of the firing process. The method is capable of suppressing such as cracking and peeling of the electrolyte layer while improving denseness of the electrolyte layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
