<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a display on one display unit of plural display units in a terminal device to be changed into a character input display in response to a user's intent to input a character, without any specific key operation. <P>SOLUTION: In a terminal device, a control unit changes a display of a display unit installed in a casing which is determined to be substantially horizontal to a gravity direction to a character input display, if it is determined, in a state where a display unit casing 1 comprising a display unit 4 and a display unit casing 2 comprising a display unit 5 are foldably connected via a hinge unit 3, that one casing of the display unit casing 1 and the display unit casing 2 is substantially horizontal to the gravity direction and the display unit installed in the one casing is facing upward against the gravity direction, and that a spread angle of the display unit casing 1 and the display unit casing 2 is larger than a predetermined angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
