<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start a navigation device from an information terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation device using the information terminal connected by cable or radio as an input section receives a starting signal from the information terminal to start. Then, the navigation device receives a request signal from the information terminal, transmits a destination list to the information terminal, and receives a destination selected by the information terminal based on the transmission of the destination list.
