<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of power conversion equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion equipment includes multiple switching elements (15) composing an upper arm and multiple switching elements (25) composing a lower arm. In the power conversion equipment, each switching element (15,25) of the upper and lower arms is composed of an element with horizontal structure where a gate (G) (controlling electrode), a drain (D) (controlled electrode), and a source (S) (controlled electrode) are respectively formed on one side of a bare chip.
