<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide suitable technique for improving usability associated with picture quality adjustment by making the picture quality adjustment easier in a video processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The video processing apparatus includes a storage medium (10) stored with moving image samples, a selector (30) for selecting a normal operation mode or a picture quality adjustment mode, and processing sections (20, 40) configured to read moving image samples out of the storage medium (10) and to display a plurality of moving image video samples differing in picture quality from each other on a screen of a display unit (90) when the selector selects the picture quality adjustment mode.
