<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a crankshaft having superior dimensional accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A first crankshaft half body 32 has: a first flange member 36; and a hollow shaft member 40 joined to a first bearing part 38 formed annularly and projectingly from one end face of the first flange member 36. A second crankshaft half body 34 has: a second flange member 45; and a solid shaft member 48 joined to a second bearing part 46 formed cylindrically and projectingly from one end face of the second flange member 45. Preferably, the first bearing part 38, the hollow shaft member 40, the second bearing part 46, and the solid shaft member 48 are individually produced by precision forging. The joining between the first bearing part 38 and the hollow shaft member 40, and the joining between the second bearing part 46 and the solid shaft member 48 are preformed by friction welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
