摘要 <p>The method involves continuously moving a workpiece (10) by an industrial robot (16). A tool i.e. spot welding tool (18), is moved synchronously with the workpiece during execution of machining operation on a processing location of the workpiece. The tool is moved to another processing location relative to the workpiece after the machining operation. The tool is mounted on a platform (24), where the tool includes an electrode holder (20) with welding electrodes (22), and a data line (34) actuates the electrode holder of the tool.</p>
